This laboratory aims to study the health and disease processes in the oral cavity with two perspectives:

1) To achieve a better understanding of the mechanisms involved in these processes.

2) Identify therapeutic targets for the purpose of advancing the prevention, diagnosis and/or treatment of these diseases.
